Workplace Mediation

Confidential resolution when workplace conflict is disrupting your business and creating risk

In some situations, it may be possible to resolve an issue before or alongside a formal grievance or investigation process. Mediation can also be effective after formal processes have concluded, particularly where working relationships remain strained.

A confidential, facilitated conversation provides a structured way to address conflict, helping those involved feel heard and mutually agree a way forward.

All mediations are delivered personally by Laura, a TCM-accredited workplace mediator with over 20 years' senior HR experience.

When conflict cannot be left unresolved

Mediation focuses on finding a way forward that both parties can commit to, reducing risk and protecting dignity, working relationships, and organisational stability.

It provides an alternative to formal processes that may escalate rather than resolve the situation, protecting the organisation from reputational and operational impacts.

When mediation is the right choice

Mediation works when both parties recognise that a way forward is needed, even when conflict has escalated, positions are fixed, or formal processes are already underway. In many situations, formal processes may not restore the relationship, even if they have concluded.

Mediation is confidential and voluntary. Laura conducts an initial assessment to explain the benefits of mediation and ensure that both parties are willing to participate.

The mediation process works for many types of disputes, including:

  • Relationship breakdowns between colleagues
  • Disputes between managers and direct reports
  • Executive-level disputes
  • Conflict between business partners or during mergers and acquisitions
  • Allegations of bullying, harassment, or discrimination
  • Many more situations can be addressed. Contact Laura to discuss whether your situation is suitable for mediation.
